I went to car toys today, asked them, they said "Six and a half". So, I proceeded to find the 6 1/2 speakers, bought them, came home, spent 20 minutes taking my door panel off, only to find the 6 1/2 were almost twice as big as what would fit. The magnet on the 6 1/2 were the size of the entire speaker already in it.
So, what size do I need for the doors? Its a 2 door, 1991 Honda Accord EX. go to the link below and type in your vehiclethey put a plastic baffle cup in them to accommodated cheaper 5.25 speakers. take plastic cup out and get a set of 6.5 speaker spacers to space the 6.5 speaker away from the door panel so that the magnets clear the distance from the window gears. you might need to drill new holes to fit the spacers and speakers in but i will work.
